There’s no room for violence. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women is observed every year on November 25. This day was chosen to honor the Mirabal sisters who fought Trujillo’s dictatorship in the Dominican Republic. Newdeal supports the efforts taken to end violence against women and girls.
